Wein-Bauer Distribution was founded in 1993 by Gaby Bauer who, after 4 years of owning and operating Wein-Bauer, Inc., along with her husband Manfred, realized the need to have a specialized distribution company to introduce their own imported wines as well as carefully selected domestic wineries to the Chicago market.

Today, Wein-Bauer, Inc. and Wein-Bauer Distribution run as separate companies. Both are becoming heavy-hitters in the ever-changing alcoholic beverage industry with new and exciting projects on the horizon.
